• How to Cool Gel Packs

• Place gel pack flat in freezer for at least 2 hours.
• Remove the gel pack from the freezer and place it in a knee brace before applying.
• Apply the knee brace to the affected area.
• Never apply cold therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.

• How to Heat Gel Packs in a Microwave

• Note: Gel pack must be at room temperature before heating in the microwave
• Place the gel pack on a paper towel in the microwave.
• Heat at full power for 45-60 seconds.
• Reheat at 10-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.
• Place in a knee brace and apply to the affected area.
• Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.

• How to Heat Gel Packs on a Stove Top

• Bring 3 quarts (3.5 liters) of water to a boil.
• Remove water from the heat source. Note: Never immerse gel pack while water is being heated.
• Immerse the gel pack in hot water for 2.5 - 3 minutes.
• Place in a knee brace and apply to the affected area.
• Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.

• How do I measure the circumference of my knee?

Wrap a tape measure around your kneecap to measure.

• Can I run and exercise with the knee brace on?

Yes, the knee brace offers a full range of motion so that you can enjoy all of your favorite activities without slipping, folding, or bunching. It’s best to not insert the gel packs while exercising.

• Will the brace slip or roll down my leg when I am active?

No, the strong fastening straps will keep the brace in place even when you are active.

• How to do I heat the gel packs?

You may heat the gel packs in either the microwave or on the stove top. In the microwave, place the gel pack on a paper towel and heat at full power for 45-60 seconds. Reheat at 10-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached. On the stovetop, bring 3 quarts (3.5 liters) of water to a boil. Remove the water from the heat source. Never immerse the gel pack while water is being heated. Immerse the gel pack in hot water for 2.5 - 3 minutes.

• How do I cool the gel packs?
